Over 3 days connected so not too shabby, pity about the upload speed though...

Attenuation increased on my connection from 38.5dB and output power went from 18.5dBm to 21.1dBm

It seems that the better the attenuation, the more likely you are to get a higher upstream.

But I must say this Sky connection is as stable as any that I've had.

It's the upstream attenuation that is confusing me, my screenshot has it as 10,9 which means there is a lot to be gained.

Just noticed your exchange DSLAM is using Globespan chipset but mine is Broadcom :? .....strange ?

Google found the answer !!..........DSLAMs using Globespan are ex-Easynet and obviously those using Broadcom are ex-O2/BE

Other way round surely?

Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / BDCM on mine.

I noticed there was a connection query on t'other side.

Downstream Output Power looks to be mis-reporting but could be the cause of the problem.
