Yet the article quite clearly gives all the places you can watch it and Sky F1 is one of them. Believe me I scrolled through tomorrow and the day after hour by hour. Not a sign...!! :idk :idk

On a 2 day holiday. He has done himself no favours by staying away either. A PR disaster for him I think.
Certianly the F1 forums are incandescent with rage over a British WDC, avoiding a British event when it's so close to Silverstone.
When Hamiltons name was mentioned by those on stage he was booed. Vettel was cheered,

An article popped up from that cr@p paper The Mail Online...who suggested this may have been the reason...

P1 just finished. Mercedes fastest. Vettel used the shield for his first run but Ferrari arent doing too well. Red Bull with their new 'package' are fine

Silverstone: What a race. Lewis in a class of his own and for me... completely vindicated by his decision to avoid the F1 live event.

On the F1 forums, opinions about the race is divided. Some reckon it was boring ...others state it was the best race of the season so far...
I think you need to be British and a fan of Lewis and maybe have watched it on the TV.

Don't get me wrong ....I would love to go to Silverstone for the atmosphere etc...but wherever you sit or stand, you surely can't see all race action (Unless they have massive screens showing all parts of the track?)

Forget Lewis who was untouchable ...the action on the rest of the track was brilliant. Max overtaking Vettel twice...Danny Ricc coming from the back of the grid to finish 5th, Bottas coming from 9th to finish 2nd.....(passing both Vettel and Kimi)
Both Ferraris getting punctures just before the end. Kimi got 3rd and Vettel landed in 7th...which means Lewis is only one point behind him in the championship.

Bring on Hungary.....
