Mobile phone haggling: get the right deal for you

PostPosted by stuart » Tue Dec 02, 2014 2:26 pm

Anyone with a mobile contract that's about to end (or has ended) is wielding a serious MoneySaving weapon: loyalty. Unleash it with a phone call, which could save you £100s...

It's all about an easy haggling technique to add minutes and texts, cut your line rental and upgrade your phone.

In a nutshell, if you're near the end of your mobile phone contract, simply tell your provider ‘give me a better package or I'll leave', and most of the time it will. If not, then leaving isn't a bad idea.

I guess they didn't call O2 when researching that concept then ? :lmao
Grammar. The difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.
S3 i9305, Rooted, CM 12.1, Lycamobile.
Xperia Z5 Dual Sim, EE & O2.
Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet LTE, Three.

Imitation. The sincerest form of flattery

Just jumped ship from O2 to Voda on my main contract, the attempts made to keep my business by O2 were pathetic to say the least - no interest in loyalty at all :idk

Didn't even try: asked me what handset I was after, told them Note 3 (Cleos new toy) and what deal I could get at CPW with Voda and the guy promptly gave up! :cleo
