We got it as existing customers Lou...

I provided the bt link to which I think he can sign in then just add it the particular account he wishes

Yes I saw that Stu. What MI5 needs to do now is speak to BT to add broadband and make sure they drop the BT Sport charge.

As BT Sport is currently added to his Sky account, does that mean he will need another box for BT Sport or can he continue with it but for free through the Sky box?

All through his current Sky box. Just make sure you speak to BT and confirm he won't be paying for the BT Sport channels once he has BT Broadband. You should also try to get BT to throw in the BT Sport HD channels for free, if your dad has an HD telly.

Glad I could help. That's a turn around. :lol

Funnily enough, I'm in the process of switching everything to Virgin Media. Been a Sky customer for 14 1/2 years, and have been with BT for 18 months for BB and phone, but I'm getting a good deal with Virgin and putting everything under one umbrella again. Only thing I will miss is the Sky Atlantic channel, but there are ways around that. I will have 152MB download speed with no cap. At the moment I have a 40GB cap with BT.

I'm with Virgin for phone and broadband too hence my lack of understanding how BT works ;)

Why only phone and broadband? Wouldn't you get a better deal if you took one of the television packages as well?

I had everything with Sky for a very long time, but switched to BT 18 months ago for BB and phone to get BT Sport and ESPN. Only way I could get it for free. BT have messed me about, and keep putting up prices. Thought to move everything back to Sky, but they wouldn't play ball on any discounts. Another company who cares nothing for loyalty, so I've moved everything to Virgin. I'll be getting BB at 4 times the speed I'm getting now, and no more scrambled pictures on the telly when the weather gets bad.
