Not sure if discussed before but virgin media now have an app that let's you use your landline inclusive minutes on your smartphone using wifi.
Lots of people going abroad moan about tugo and I'd say a fair chunk use virgin home phone as it's included in many bundles

Seems very easy to set up and promises it can't cost anything, it will only connect to included numbers (landlines, 0870, virgin mobile)
Not the greatest of the options, but seems like a good idea if calling landlines while away.

Its a good incentive I think...??

They've had it a while I think. You can take advantage of your home calling plan whilst 'on the go'. It uses your home phone allowance, which as I was on the basic one would have only meant being able to use it at weekends, so I never bothered.

I'm 99% certain BT do something similar now too.
