Apple Genius Bar & Support

If your iphone isnt working properly & you have tried all the troubleshooting tips

http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/
http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/
http://support.apple.com/manuals/#iphone

If you have exhausted all the tips & nothing is resolved, book a genius appointment at your nearest Apple Store, if there is a fault with an iphone within 12 months they will swap it straightaway but if you are out of warranty you will need to pay for a replacement starting around £119 depending on what model iPhone you own

The replacement Apple issue would normally be a mint refurb in a plain black or white box.
It's only when the idevice has been recently released and refurb's are not available that you can receive a brand new unit.

Point to note for users who have Jail-Broken.
Ensure you restore back to stock before visiting the shop as they may refuse repair or replacement.

This is a good link to check your warranty status before making a Genius Bar Appointment.

Just to add to this thread...

One of my family (age 22 and a real chavvy darling) :halo :lmao broke the screen on her equally chavvy bling bling iPhone 5s

She doesn't have a clue how this happened but resulted in the screen display only showing on one half of the phone also... :halo

She took a trip today to her nearest Genius Bar ( Birmingham I think???)

She has 7 days left on her warranty and the screen was replaced free of charge ...along with whatever needed to repair the split display...

As she said to me..'I am well chuffed'... :ooyh :lmao :lmao

Good job she was still in warranty then otherwise it would have been a very hefty price for a screen replacement
