It's Leagoo's version of 5.1 - not modified much really apart from their own launcher but I have installed nova so it looks just like stock Google now anyway.

jonsie wrote:Do you recommend this @Rich, bearing in mind it will just be used as a standard phone without any tweaking or rooting?

There isn't any tweaking or rooting that can be done as yet so I'm using it "stock" and it's fine.
Sure, it's not a Note 4 but I defy anyone to find better for the money.
A nice bonus is that I only have to carry one phone around with me, battery gets me through the day comfortably, camera is good enough for my needs (viridis would prob hate it :lmao ), but overall, yes, definitely recommend.

I'm currently sitting with a budget range phone with 8mp camera..... it takes better shots than my Z5....
You'll be surprised to learn the leagoo elites have IMX240's in them, stacked cmos sensors with full api2 support. (And also the same sensor that resides in your note 4 ;) )
Only the lenses are different from your Sammy versions, but no, two thumbs up from me.
