I have two family members who live in Nuneaton. Both have Sky. One reckons it's OK...the other kicked it into touch after a year and went with BT.

Openreach coming out again. 5th time in a month.

Sky estimate 13.4 - 19.9Mb here so i'd take a guess at roughly 2Mb upstream is what we should be getting with that.

Line issues apparently. If we are getting 13 down then it can't be a line fault surely as that would affect the downstream as well as the upstream?

First speed test - I'll take that, especially when you consider that there were at least a dozen devices connected at the time :ooyh

So, after our FTTC has dropped to 8 down and 0.3 up Sky are now sending a

Quote.

"Specialist Fibre Technician"

Unquote.

to our house tomorrow. I have questioned this an asked if this would be an Openreach engineer, the reply was "No"

I'm betting it's an Openreach engineer and he'll be able to do exactly the same as the last 5/6 that have visited!!!
