Hi Philip

Pooja:
Good Afternoon

Philip Moulsher: Good afternoon. I have a problem making and receiving calls since this morning
Pooja:
let me check with the issue

Philip Moulsher: My phone is a Samsung S7 Edge, recently updated to Android Nougat
Pooja:
thank you so much

Pooja:
Please follow the steps given bellow

Please go to your phone settings and change the network mode to 2g , then manually select the network as o2 and then Vodafone
Once that is done please put the phone of flight mode for 30 seconds and then remove it

next step is switch off the handset and remove the SIM after 2 minutes please reinsert the SIM and restart the handset

then change the network mode back to 4G

Philip Moulsher: Unfortunately that has not worked
Pooja:
Please help me with your post code ?

Philip Moulsher: LE72EF
Pooja:
thank you

Philip Moulsher: My wife is also on Vodafone, she has no issues
Pooja:
In an area there can be different MAST's supporting the network for different mobile numbers , I will have the issue checked with the mast that supports your number

Philip Moulsher: Thank you
Pooja:
Most welcome

Pooja:
Thank you so much for your patience , Philip
I have checked and see that there is an issue with the network to your phone , I will be escalating this issue to the highest escalation team , they will work on the issue manually and will resolve it , you will receive text updates as and when the issue is resolved

Philip Moulsher: That's excellent, thank you
Pooja:
Most welcome , Philip

Pooja:
I have escalated the issue Philip , The issue will be resolved within 24-48 hours and you will receive updates as and when the issue is resolved.

Philip Moulsher: Thank you for your help

To be fair, it does sound like a network issue and different numbers do go through different servers so the could be right.
Not sure about the highest escalation team though - maybe they need to wait for the cleaner to finish and unplug her hoover so the server can be plugged back in :lmao
