Missing credit?

PostPosted by O2MACH2 » Thu Jul 18, 2013 3:45 pm

I just bought a Nokia Lumia 620. I bought it with an O2 SIM that had £10 credit. I am already an O2 customer and I am waiting for my old number to be transferred across to the micro SIM. I was using my phone on the new number (still waiting for old number to transfer) and I sent a text. It said my credit was £0.05. Before I went to bed it was just over £9. I have only had two notifications to tell me that I will pay £1 for data. I have turned off roaming. I have used £10 of credit in 24 hours. I don't know how this has happened as I have been asleep most of the time I have had this phone.

Did you let O2 know your new number? If so, they may be porting the credit from that number to your old (new) one.

If you are transferring your number across, that will erase the other number & the credit will go I think

Yeah, your number & tariff will be attached to the new sim that you haveso the number on the sim that came with the £10 will not exist anymore so you wouldn't have anything associated with the original number on your details

oh now I have transferred an old mobile number to a new sim card, and o2 managed to re-credit my balance back after speaking to a supervisor on live chat.
But when I changed my mobile number twice after that I then started to get problems a few weeks back. Thankfully all sorted now.
But yes the balance can be re-credited to your sim what you have lost.
